6 Monthly Protection Coolant Check
WARNING: Do not remove the cap from a HOT engine radiator. The sudden release of pressure from a heated cooling system can result in serious personal injury.
The engine cooling system is filled at the factory with a 50/50 mixture of water and ethylene glycol. This permanent type antifreeze contains rust inhibitors and provides protection to --35° F (--37°C).
The use of such a mixture is recommended for both summer and winter operation. When using water alone, be sure to add a reputable brand of rust inhibitor to prevent internal corrosion.
It is recommended to test the freezing protection of the coolant every six months or prior to freezing temperatures. Replenish with a fresh mixture every twelve months. A drain for the system is located in the bottom radiator tank. An alternate method would be to disconnect a bottom radiator hose.
Is the engine cool?
Is the coolant mixture 50/50 water and ethylene glycol?
Is the coolant providing protection to --35° F (--37°C)?
Is rust inhibitor added when using water alone?
Is the freezing protection of the coolant tested every six months or prior to freezing temperatures?
1 Monthly Compressor Oil Cooler Maintenance
Warning: Ensure the compressor is turned off and cooled down before starting the maintenance.
Check for grease, oil and dirt accumulation on the exterior surfaces of the oil cooler.
Upload a photo of the oil cooler before cleaning.
Cleaning Procedure
Clean the oil cooler by directing compressed air which contains a nonflammable safety solvent through the core of the oil cooler.
Upload a photo of the oil cooler after cleaning.

If foreign deposits are found:
Clean the oil cooler using a cleaning compound in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Initial 200 Miles Electric Brake Adjustment
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Trailer secured on adequate capacity jack stands
Wheel and drum rotate freely
Adjusting hole cover removed from the adjusting slot on the bottom of the brake backing plate
Brake shoes expanded until the pressure of the linings against the drum makes the wheel very difficult to turn
Starwheel rotated in the opposite direction until the wheel turns freely with a slight lining drag
Adjusting hole cover replaced and wheel lowered to the ground
Repeat above procedures on all brakes
Sign off on the brake adjustment
1 Weekly Compressor Maintenance
Hydraulic Oil Level Check
Battery Connections/Electrolyte Check
Tire Pressure and Surface Check
6 Monthly Parking Brakes Maintenance
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Brake shoes visually checked for proper operation and deterioration
Procedure for replacing brake cables and adjusting brake shoes
Brake shoes adjusted
Rubber hole plug in the brake backing plate replaced
Procedure for adjusting parking brakes
Knob on brake lever turned until lever is perpendicular to bracket when in “OFF” position
Brake cables adjusted until each has approximately the same tension
Brake lever moved to “ON” position and each wheel checked to see that it will not rotate
