Ensure no open flames are present in the inspection area

Use non-corrosive leak detection fluid

Check all pipe connections for gas leaks

Was the inspection completed without any incidents?

Describe any issues found during the inspection

Ensure the dryer is used for drying water washed fabrics only.

Verify that none of the following items are in the dryer

Ensure surrounding areas are free of flammable and combustible products.

Remove debris from the lint screen filter.

Clean inside of the lint filter compartment.

Clean the area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding area from lint, dust, and dirt.

Inform the fire department about the upcoming maintenance test

Disconnect auxiliary output if it activates a building sprinkler

Verify the connection to the auxiliary output through the H-4 header connection inside the fire suppression control box

Check the relay rating (5 Amp, 250VAC max)

Reconnect auxiliary output if it was disconnected

Inform the fire department that the maintenance test is complete

Affix the appropriate country/gas category label over the main serial plate designations if required.

Pressure Verification and Adjustment

Enter the current gas supply pressure.

Is the gas supply pressure within the acceptable range?

Adjust the gas supply pressure if necessary.

Refer to Figure 12 for guidance.

Technician's signature to confirm completion of the procedure.

Disconnect electrical power from tumble dryer

Close gas shut-off valve to tumble dryer

Verify that the supply inlet pressure is equipped with a pressure regulator

Attach manometer to the correct location based on gas valve type

Remove the burner orifice(s) from the spud holder
