Activating the Sensor Cleaning Manually

Select [Sensor cleaning] under the [¥4] tab and press <(SET)>

Select [Clean now] and press <(SET)>

Was the camera placed upright and stable on a flat surface?

Did the camera automatically restart after cleaning?

Disabling Automatic Sensor Cleaning

Select [Auto cleaning] in step 2 and set it to [Disable]

Detach the lens from the camera

Connect to household power outlet accessories if available

Select [Sensor cleaning] under the [$4] tab and press <SET>

Select [OK] to lock up the reflex mirror and open the shutter

Clean the sensor using a plain blower without any brush attached
