Pull out the paper drawer and remove all the loaded paper

Squeeze the lever on the left guide and slide it to align with the desired paper size mark

Squeeze the lever on the front guide and slide it to align with the desired paper size mark

Check that the guides are adjusted correctly for the loaded paper size

Set the size switch to match the paper being loaded

Check that the size switch is set correctly

Press 'Light' or 'Dark' to adjust the exposure

Press 'OK' to confirm the adjustment

Press 'Done' to complete the adjustment

Repeat the procedure if necessary

Verify the specified mode is set and the display returns to the Basic Features screen

Is the machine neither printing nor scanning?

Push the test button with the tip of a ball-point pen or similar object.

Did the breaker lever automatically go to the OFF position?

Turn the main power switch OFF.

Turn off the main power switch and unplug the power plug before cleaning.

Ensure not to use alcohol, benzene, paint thinner, or other solvents for cleaning.

Unplug the power plug at least once a year and clean the plug’s metal pins and surrounding area.

Ensure the cloth is not too damp to avoid damaging the machine.

Clean the roller (3 places) with a cloth dampened with water.

Open the middle cover by holding the knob in the front.

Turn off the main power switch and unplug the power plug

Ensure not to use alcohol, benzene, paint thinner, or other solvents for cleaning

Unplug the power plug from the outlet at least once a year and clean the plug’s metal pins and surrounding area

Ensure the cleaning cloth is not too damp

Press 'Start' to begin roller cleaning

Press 'Cancel' to stop roller cleaning if needed
