Ensure the IV line and gauge are free of air

Verify the test fixture consists of only compatible IV tubing as specified on the pump label

Press the ON/OFF key to turn the unit on

Select any Care Area and press OK

From the Drug List, select BASIC and press OK

Select Primary Bag and press OK

For Mode, select mL/hr and press OK

Press STOP then OFF and unplug the AC power adaptor before cleaning.

Ensure not to sterilize by autoclaving, ETO gas or spraying.

Ensure not to immerse any part of the pump.

Avoid using phenolic-based cleaners or disinfectants.

Avoid using spray or aerosol cleaners.

Use a lint-free, foam-tipped swab for cleaning the tube channel.

Use alcohol in a well-ventilated area.

Enter the battery voltage reading (VDC)

Run motor to observe battery status under load

Check if the battery charger status is displayed

Enter the Battery Charger Controller (BCC) Version Number

Turn the unit on and select any Care Area

Select BASIC from the Drug List

Turn the unit on and select any Care Area

Press YES if the New Patient Yes/No? prompt appears

Select BASIC from the Drug List and press OK

Select Primary Bag and press OK

Select mL/hr for Mode and press OK

Set the Rate to 100mL/hr and press OK

Set VTBI mL to 50 mL and press OK

Turn the pump off using the ON/OFF key

Turn the pump on and press NO to the New Patient Yes/No screen
