Enter the battery voltage reading (VDC)

Run the motor to observe battery status under load

Check the status of the battery charger

Record the Battery Charger Controller (BCC) Version Number

CAUTION: Static sensitive components

Perform procedure using proper anti-static techniques in an EOS/ESD safe work area

Disconnect the AC power adaptor

Lay the pump on its front using a protective surface

Remove the screw located in the upper right hand corner of the wireless battery module

Depress the release mechanism and pull the battery away from the back of the unit

Disconnect the AC power adaptor

Lay the pump on its front using a protective surface

Remove the screw in the upper right-hand corner of the battery

Depress the release mechanism and pull the battery away from the unit

Place the battery insulation tab over the terminals

Ensure fluid and air temperature is 72°F ±2°F

Verify IV set compatibility with the pump

Keypad and Display Operation Check

Press the ON/OFF key to turn the unit on

Select any Care Area and Press OK

Select any Drug Name and Press OK

Press OK to select Primary Bag and Press OK to select mL/hr

Enter '4' and '6' using the keypad and observe the Rate mL/hr field to be '46'

CAUTION: Ensure fluid and air temperature is 72°F ±2°F

NOTE: Verify IV set compatibility with the pump

Inspect the pump for visual evidence of damage and/or defects to exterior components

Ensure the IV set tube channel is free of foreign materials and dry

Check for evidence of damage or repair to parts

Verify legibility of all labels
