Clean the thrust bearing between the front axle and the fifth wheel arm

Remove the front axle from the fifth wheel arm

Remove the thrust bearing for lubrication

Loosen the four bolts on the top and bottom of the light bar

Loosen the single bolt on the left

Remove the two bolts on the right holding the light bar to the light mounting arm

Adjust the angle to the desired position

Torque all three bolts to 62-68 ft.-lbs.

Raise upper rest tube using a lifting device

Reposition upper rest tube and reinsert pin and lock into position

Check alignment of arm holes with frame holes

Adjust the arms from front-to-rear

Adjust the middle arm(s) and pin

Note any issues encountered during adjustment

Is the bar adjusted equally from side-to-side?

Is there a noticeable loss of brake performance?

Is there increased usage of the brakes?

Check for excessively worn or scored parts

Inspect for loose or worn parts, stretched or deformed springs
