Empty and clean the water separator on the regulator

Electrode and Nozzle Maintenance

Check for verdigris or short circuits between the electrode and the cutting nozzle

Clean the end of the electrode and the inside of the nozzle with fine sandpaper if impurities or moisture are present

Empty and Clean Water Separator

Choose method to empty the water separator

Inspect and Clean Electrode and Nozzle

Clean the end of the electrode with fine sandpaper

Clean the inside of the nozzle with fine sandpaper

Push the “air test” button on the front panel

Check the air pressure on the gauge

Adjust the air pressure to 3.5 bar

Is the flow set between the two lines on the gas test device?

Verify the ignition mechanism is movable

Is lubrication required for the ignition mechanism?

Refer to the picture for lubrication points

Apply pure Vaseline without solvents or Paraffin oil

Ensure the following lubricants are NOT used

Remove remaining grease before reassembly of the torch

Examine cutting head for damages

Inspect plasma hose for damages on the cover

Is the nozzle worn out and needs replacement?

Check for metal spatter between electrode and nozzle cap
