1 Weekly Oil Level Check

Check the oil level in the sight gauge when the motor is at rest
Check the oil level in the sight gauge when the motor is in operation
Is the oil level at the midpoint of the sight gauge in both conditions?
500 Hourly / 3 Monthly Motor Periodic Inspection
Section 3 — Periodic Inspection
Listen for any abnormal noises and check cause immediately
Check for any vibration and check cause immediately if excessive vibration is found
Check voltage and frequency variations
Is there unbalanced voltage or single phase operation of poly phase motors?
Check power supply total harmonic distortion
Periodic checks of phase, voltage, frequency, and power consumption of an operating motor are recommended
Check to see that air filters, when used, are in place and clean
Check all air passages and ensure that they are not blocked or clogged
6 Monthly Anti-Friction Bearing Lubrication
Storage — Ball and Roller Bearing Motor Shafts
Rotate motor shafts manually every 3 months
Grease motor shafts every 6 months according to the Maintenance section
Storage — All Other Motor Types, Before Storage
Remove the grease drain plug on the bottom of each bracket before lubricating
Grease the motor with regreaseable bearing as instructed in Section 3
Replace the grease drain plug after greasing
Rotate the motor shaft a minimum of 15 times after greasing
Storage — All Other Motor Types, Periodic
9 Monthly Anti-Friction Bearing Greasing

Add additional grease to each bearing
