Why should I use MaintainX as a student?
MaintainX is a modern, mobile Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that’s ideal for students! From managing work orders to planning preventive maintenance and interpreting data, you’ll build the skills that matter in the field.
What can I use the license for?
Licenses provided through MaintainX for Students are for learning, training, and teaching only. They may not be used for commercial or paid work of any kind.
Do I need to provide documentation to prove I’m eligible?
To make sure licenses are granted only to eligible students and educators, we may ask for a school-issued email and supporting documents.
What kinds of documents are accepted?

- Course registration or class schedule
- Faculty listing on your institution’s website
- Official letter from your school
What if I’m invited to use MaintainX by my school?
If your school or instructor already added you to MaintainX, you can skip the form and log in with your school-issued email address.

Are there terms and conditions for MaintainX for Students?
Yes, the terms & conditions of the program are as follows.
By requesting a free license, you agree to the following: I acknowledge and accept the MaintainX Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If my request to access MaintainX for educational use is approved, I confirm that I am a Student or Faculty member at a Qualified Educational Institution, as defined below. I understand that MaintainX may request proof of eligibility and that my license is for educational use only—such as learning, teaching, or research. I will not use MaintainX for commercial work, professional training, or facility management purposes, including a Qualified Educational Institution's internal business purposes. I also understand that MaintainX may revoke access at any time with written notice.
"Qualified Educational Institution" means an accredited school, college, university, or technical program whose primary purpose is teaching. This does not include training centers not affiliated with an educational institution, churches, healthcare systems, libraries, or museums.
"Faculty" means an instructor or academic staff member employed or contracted by a Qualified Educational Institution.
"Student" means someone enrolled at a Qualified Educational Institution and at least eighteen (18) years of age.
