Inspect rotor teeth for wear
Is there visible wear on the rotor teeth?
Adjustment Procedure
Refer to TSM for specific model series instructions and describe the procedure followed
Measure the current end clearance

Thrust Bearing Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Ensure pressure in the chamber is completely vented
Lock out or make non-operational the driving means
Identify the liquid the pump has been handling
Obtain and understand the material safety data sheet (MSDS) for the liquid
Thrust Bearing Adjustment
Loosen the two set screws in the outer face of the bearing housing
Rotate the bearing housing clockwise until it cannot be turned anymore
Mark the outside diameter of the bearing housing and the pump bracket

Check alignment using a long straightedge or tightly drawn string across the face of the sheaves
Pump Disassembly
Safety Precautions
Ensure pressure in the chamber is completely vented
Lock out or make non-operational the driving means
Obtain and understand the MSDS for the liquid handled by the pump
Pump Disassembly Steps
Mark head and casing before disassembly
Remove nuts and capscrews from head
Use jack bolts to back head away from casing
Tilt top of head back when removing to prevent idler from falling
