Disconnect power before servicing pump

Snap the plastic grid off the bottom of the pump and clean

Remove old debris from the reservoir

Is the reservoir made of painted galvanized steel?

Coat painted galvanized steel reservoirs with high quality sub-sealer if needed

Ensure the following items are available

Ensure the fan is turned off and locked out for safety

Clean the grease fitting to prevent contamination

Apply the recommended amount of grease

Was the shaft rotated to aid corrosion protection?

Wipe off any excess grease from the bearing housing

Run the pump to clear contamination

Was the contamination cleared with the pump?

Use additional cleaning methods if necessary

Remove the access panel and roof edge cover below the distributor

Remove the inside hose from the end of the distributor pipe

Ensure you have the recommended grease

Clean the area around the grease fittings

Enter the NEMA Frame size of the motor

Is the NEMA Frame size between 210 and 280?

Apply the grease to the motor bearings

Check for any grease leaks around the bearings

Is there significant scale build-up on the pads?

Are the pads scaled and plugged?

Hose down pads to clean away dirt and salt particles

Are the pads too blocked, reducing cooling efficiency and air delivery?

Remove outer access panels and internal media cover plate
