Turn off the water supply to the cooler

Unscrew and remove the standpipe to allow the water to drain down

Ensure no water is left standing in the unit for prolonged periods

Apply a coat of high quality sub-sealer to painted galvanized steel reservoirs

Gently hose stubborn deposits from the face of the evaporative media with fresh water

Run fresh water through the pump and water distribution system for 30 minutes

Ensure the fan/blower is turned off while flushing the system

Confirm the reservoir is filled with water before operating the water pump

Measure the current pH level of the water

Is the pH level within the normal range?

Automatic Distributor Flush System Adjustment

Adjust the timer for flush valve open duration

Adjust the timer for flush cycle interval

Ensure the fan is turned off and locked out before starting lubrication.

Gather necessary tools and materials, including high quality NLGI No. 2 or 3 multipurpose ball bearing grease.

Inspect the bearing for any visible damage or wear.

Select the type of grease to be used

Apply the appropriate amount of grease (in grams)

Rotate the shaft to distribute the grease evenly.

Remove pad frame from cabinet by lifting from the bottom edge and pulling outward, then letting it drop.

Is it necessary to wash dirt and scale from pad frame with a mild detergent?

Ensure guards are installed when the fan is operating above an occupied space or within 7ft of working area.

Install guards whenever deemed advisable for safety reasons.

Install the sheave, pulley, and belt before setting the unit over the roof opening.

Place the motor on the flat side of the adjustable motor base so that the drive belt will pass through the oblong cut out.

Adjust motor base as required to assure proper belt tension.
