Initial 6 Months Bearing Lubrication
Preparation
Ensure the following items are available
Ensure the fan is turned off and locked out for safety
Lubrication Process
Clean the grease fitting to prevent contamination
Apply the recommended amount of grease (in grams)
Rotate the shaft to distribute the grease evenly
Post-Lubrication
Was the lubrication completed without any issues?
Propeller Fan Assembly
Safety Note
Ensure guards are installed when the rotating fan prop or wheel is operating above an occupied space or within 7ft of working area or whenever deemed advisable for safety reasons.
Pre-assembly Installation
Install the sheave, pulley, and belt before setting the unit over the roof opening.
Motor Placement
Place the motor on the flat side of the adjustable motor base so that the drive belt will pass through the oblong cut out.
Motor Base Adjustment
Adjust motor base as required to assure proper belt tension.
Blower Fan Assembly
Safety Note
Guards must be installed when the rotating fan prop or wheel is operating above an occupied space or within 7ft of working area or whenever deemed advisable for safety reasons.
Place the motor on the adjustable motor base
Adjust motor to assure proper belt tension
Check motor location for belt alignment and adjustment
Water Distributor Cleaning
Preparation
Remove the access panel and roof edge cover below the distributor.
Remove the inside hose from the end of the distributor pipe and the pipe support that attaches to the cooler roof.
Distributor Pipe Removal
Remove both distributor end caps.
Insert a 1/2" diameter x 6ft long rod or dowel into the distributor.
Secure the end of the dowel at the end opposite to where the distributor will be removed.
Rotate the distributor pipe down to break the seal and pull it horizontally out of the cooler.
Cleaning

Ensure you have the correct type of grease
Verify motor frame size is between 210 to 280

Clean the grease fittings before lubrication
Apply the recommended amount of grease
Check for any excess grease leakage after application
