Warning: Antifreeze fluid is flammable, avoid flame.

Inspect the radiator, water pump, piping and cylinder block for leaks before adding antifreeze.

Drain cock on the radiator and cylinder block loosened and cooling water drained?

Radiator and cylinder block flushed with clean water?

Water drained out of the radiator and cylinder block?

Radiator and engine drain cocks tightened?

Enter the amount of antifreeze added to the radiator inlet

Filled up the remaining space with clean water?

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure

Select the components to replace

Are the replacement parts genuine Toyota parts?

Select the type of lubricant used

Note: In case of hard operating conditions, a service interval of 170 hours or 1 month may be recommendable.

Sign off on the component replacement

Warning: Perform the inspection after starting the engine.

Check the steering wheel play with the rear wheel set in the straight traveling direction.

See the service data section for the standard play of steering wheel.

Turn the steering wheel in the circumferential direction and also move it up and down to check there is no looseness.

Push the horn button to check if the horn sounds normally.

If any abnormality is found, ask a Toyota dealer for inspection.

Sign off on the steering wheel inspection

Warning: Ensure the ignition switch is set to the OFF position before starting the procedure.

Fuse box cover removed and clip taken off

Fuse removed using the fuse clip

If fuse is blown, replace it with a spare fuse.

Fuse replaced with the same capacity fuse

If replaced fuse is blown again, ask a Toyota dealer for inspection.

Need to replace the GLOW or ALT fuse?

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure

Did you use genuine Toyota parts for replacement?
