Chain Wheel Inspection

Inspect the following items, and repair or replace defective parts found;

1. Chain wheel inspection:

(1) Crack or damage in chain wheels.

(2) Defective rotating condition, abnormal noise, or looseness in bearings.

Note: Chain wheels are of grease-sealed type so that care must be taken not to soak them in cleaning solvent. Merely wipe clean the inner and outer rings with piece of waste.

2. Snap ring inspection:

(1) Excessive spread in snap ring.

(2) Damage in snap ring groove.;

Charger Voltage Inspection

Warning: Most of the inspection measurement is made with the charger power source connected and the timer turned on, so that extreme caution should be taken not to accidentally touch any terminals as severe shock or unexpected trouble may arise.
