1. Wheel cylinder:

(1) Check rust, wear or damage of the wheel cylinder insides and piston.

Cylinder & Piston Clearance: 0.025 ~ 0.126 mm (0.001" ~ 0.005")

(2) Wear, damage or deformation of piston cups

Caution: Replace cups with new one's when overhauling.

Power Steering Adjustment

Check mark

a. Screw into the power cylinder rear end the power cylinder piston rod by 40 mm (1.600") for all series, and the power cylinder end B by 37 mm (1.480") for 2FBCA15, 20, 25 series and by 40 mm (1.600") for FBCA30 series.

b. Screw the power cylinder end A into power cylinder by 37 mm (1.480") for 2FBCA15, 20, 25 series and by 45 mm (1.800") for FBCA30 series.

c. Set the steering wheel to lock to lock center position, rear axle straight ahead state, and install the power cylinder to the vehicle so that distance X will become:

- 140 mm (5.600") for 2FBCA15, 20, 25 series

Check mark

- 142 mm (5.680") for FBCA30 series

Check mark

Make the adjustment by varying the projection of the tie rod and A.

d. Connect the pitman arm and the power cylinder rear end to the drag link rod.

Note: Make the adjustment by varying the projection of the tie rods A and B, and such that both A and B will be screwed in by same amount.;
