Warning: This equipment stays pressurized until pressure is manually relieved. To help prevent serious injury from pressurized fluid, such as skin injection, splashing fluid and moving parts, follow the Pressure Relief Procedure when you stop dispensing and before cleaning, checking, or servicing the equipment.

Turn off fuel supply. Perform Pressure Relief Procedure.

Remove guard and SwitchTip from all guns.

Unscrew cap, remove filter. Assemble without filter.

Clean filter, guard and SwitchTip in flushing fluid.

Place siphon tube set in grounded metal pail partially filled with flushing fluid. Attach ground wire to true earth ground. Perform Startup steps to flush out paint in sprayer. Use water to flush water-base paint and mineral spirits solvent (also called white spirit) to flush oil-base paint.

Hold gun against paint bucket and pull trigger until water or solvent appears.

Move gun to solvent or water bucket. Hold gun against bucket and pull trigger until the system is thoroughly flushed.

Fill pump with Pump Armor and reassemble filter, guard and SwitchTip.

Is there play in the caster wheel?

Sign off on the caster wheel check

Check engine oil level and fill as necessary

Check gun safety for proper operation

Check pressure drain valve for proper operation

Operating in an unusually dusty environment?

Check air filter daily and replace, if necessary

Sign off on the daily equipment check

Is replacement of air filter element necessary?

If replacement is necessary, purchase replacement elements from your local HONDA dealer.

Level of TSL in displacement pump packing nut

Is it necessary to fill the nut with TSL?

Keep TSL in nut to help prevent fluid buildup on piston rod and premature wear of packings.
