Light Bulbs Replacement
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty level of replacement varies depending on the bulb. As there is a danger that components may be damaged, we recommend that replacement is carried out by any authorized Toyota retailer or Toyota authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer.
Preparing for light bulb replacement
Check the wattage of the light bulb to be replaced.

Air Conditioning Filter Maintenance
Warning: Ensure the power switch is off before starting the procedure.
Power switch turned off?
Glove box opened and damper slid off?
Glove box pulled out and lower claws disconnected?
Filter cover unlocked and removed?
Select the type of filter
Filter or filter case removed?
New air conditioning filter replaced with 'UP' marks pointing up?
Check and replace the air conditioning filter according to the maintenance schedule.
2 Weekly Tire Inflation Pressure Check

Tires are cold (Vehicle has been parked for at least 3 hours or has not been driven for more than 1.5 km or 1 mile)

Vehicle Exterior Cleaning
Perform cleaning in a manner appropriate to each component and its material.
Cleaning instructions
- Working from top to bottom, liberally apply water to the vehicle body, wheel wells and underside of the vehicle to remove any dirt and dust.
- Wash the vehicle body using a sponge or soft cloth, such as a chamois.
- For hard-to-remove marks, use car wash soap and rinse thoroughly with water.
- Wipe away any water.
- Wax the vehicle when the waterproof coating deteriorates.
If water does not bead on a clean surface, apply wax when the vehicle body is cool.

Air Intake Vent And Filter Cleaning
Warning: This procedure requires careful handling of the air intake vent and filter. Do not use water or other liquids to clean the air intake vent. If water is applied to the hybrid battery (traction battery) or other components, a malfunction or fire may occur.
Is the hybrid battery air intake vent dusty or clogged?
If the air intake vent is dusty or clogged, proceed with the following steps.
Remove the dust from the air intake vent with a vacuum cleaner.
Warning: Do not attempt to blow out dust and clogs using an airgun, etc. This may push it into the air intake vent.
If dust and clogs cannot be completely removed with the air intake vent cover installed, remove the cover and clean the filter.
To remove the air intake vent cover, turn the power switch off and use a flathead screwdriver.
Remove the air intake vent filter.
Remove the dust and clogs from the filter using a vacuum cleaner.
