Empty the cell chip adapter and remove springs

Wipe all outside surfaces of the adapter with a lint-free paper towel soaked with 70% ethanol

Wipe the springs with a lint-free paper towel soaked with 70% ethanol

Reinstall springs before using the adapter

Ensure springs are installed before use

Rinse the fully lowered syringes with 70% EtOH for 30 minutes

Pump all the fluid from the syringe and tubing into a waste container after 30 minutes

Rinse the syringe/injector system with 70% EtOH

Rinse the syringe/injector system with distilled or deionized water and leave the fluid pathway filled for storage

Ensure the following materials are available

Prime the injector with distilled water

Weigh the empty plate and note the weight (mg)

Inject 20 μl into 20 wells of the Greiner 96-well plate

Weigh the plate after injection and note the weight (mg)

Detection Limit Top/Bottom 96-Well Plate

Ensure all materials are prepared

Prepare the instrument for measurement

Start the measurement immediately after pipetting

Pipette 200 μl for top measurement of 1 nM Fluorescein solution or blank solution into appropriate wells

Pipette 350 μl for bottom measurement of 1 nM Fluorescein solution or blank solution into appropriate wells

Calculate the detection limit (DL) using the formula: DL(pM) = (3*SD *1000) / (meanF - meanB)

Ensure all materials are prepared

Wear protective gloves, protective glasses, and protective clothing.

Prepare a suitable container for all disposables used during the disinfection procedure.

Switch off the SPARK reader to shut down the instrument and the built-in Spark-Stack module.

Remove the microplates from the plate magazine or remove the microplate from the lifting table of the Spark-Stack module.
