Detection Limit Top/Bottom 96-Well Plate

Ensure all materials are prepared

Prepare the instrument for measurement

Start the measurement immediately after pipetting

Pipette 200 μl for top measurement of 1 nM Fluorescein solution or blank solution into appropriate wells

Pipette 350 μl for bottom measurement of 1 nM Fluorescein solution or blank solution into appropriate wells

Calculate the detection limit (DL) using the formula: DL(pM) = (3*SD *1000) / (meanF - meanB)

Ensure all materials are prepared

Inspect the syringes(s) for leaks

Flush the whole system with distilled or deionized water after each use

Flush the system when the syringe is not in use

Ensure syringes do not run dry for more than a few cycles

Wipe up the spill immediately with absorbent material

Dispose of contaminated material appropriately

Clean the instrument surfaces with a mild detergent

For biohazard spills, clean with B33 (Orochemie, Germany)

Ensure the following safety precautions are adhered to

Rinse the fully lowered syringes with 70% EtOH

Pump all the fluid from the syringe and tubing into a waste container

Rinse the syringe/injector system with 70% EtOH

Rinse the syringe/injector system with distilled or deionized water

Switch on the instrument at least 15 minutes before starting a luminescence measurement

Ensure all materials are available

Detection Limit ATP 384-Well Plate

Prepare reagents according to the manufacturer’s instructions

Pipette 100 μl of the Blank into the wells A4 – D10

Pipette 20 μl of ATP standard 10-7 M into the wells A2 – D2, add 80 μl of ATP reagent and mix in well

Ensure ATP reagent is not contaminated with ATP standard
