Get tools and jack necessary for replacing tires

Park the truck on a level, hard surface and shut down the engine

Apply the parking brake and block the wheel opposite the one you are going to repair

Put a jack under the truck frame

Remove air from the tire completely

Jack up the truck to an extent that the tire still remains on the ground

Loosen the hub nuts (① - ⑥) without removing them

Torque Converter Type Transmission

Check mast support cap bolts for looseness

Check for looseness of lift cylinder tail bolts and piston

Loosen the lift chain sufficiently

Apply engine oil to the lift chains using an oiler or brush

Move the mast up and down at least 10 times after applying engine oil

Apply grease to the following points

Avoid placing hands or feet on connecting members or into the mast assembly

Rim, Side Ring, and Disk Wheel Inspection

Check wheel bearing for looseness

Check for clutch noise and proper disengagement

Check for clutch slipping and proper engagement

Check master cylinder and release cylinder for fluid leaks

Check the function of booster (trucks with power clutch)

Check booster for oil leaks (trucks with power clutch)

Check shift levers for operation and looseness
