Visually check engine for proper rotation

Check engine oil for contamination

Check master cylinder and release cylinder for fluid leaks

Check the function of booster (trucks with power clutch)

Check booster for oil leaks (trucks with power clutch)

Check transmission shift levers

Check transmission for oil leaks

Verify the operation of components in each circuit

Is every component in a circuit not functioning?

Replace the blown fuse with a spare fuse of the same capacity and color

Do some components in a circuit not function properly?

Replace the burnt bulb with a new one of the same capacity

Check that all components are functioning properly after replacement

Ensure the engine is shut down before starting the procedure

Keep open flame away from the work place

Loosen the nut and remove the bowl

Remove the element and clean it

Install the packing before reinstalling the bowl
