Check the air breather for contamination and clean if necessary

Engine Oil and Fuel Filter Maintenance

Check carburetor linkage for looseness or contamination

Drain water from fuel tank (diesel-powered trucks)

Loosen the lift chain sufficiently

Apply engine oil to the lift chains using an oiler or brush

Move the mast up and down at least 10 times after applying engine oil

Apply grease to the following points

Ensure no one climbs the mast during the procedure

Ensure hands and feet are clear of connecting members and mast assembly

Change inline filter for torque converter type transmission

Check mast support cap bolts for looseness

Check for looseness of lift cylinder tail bolts and piston

Check brake pedal height and returning

Check brake pedal for braking or uneven braking

Check parking brake lever for proper operation and allowance

Check parking brake lever for braking effect

Check rod and cable for proper operation

Visually check engine for proper rotation

Check engine oil for contamination
