SULLAIR Compressor V200S

Relieve all pressure from the sump tank and all compressor lines

Disconnect all pipe work connected to the sump cover

Loosen and remove the hex head capscrews from the cover plate

Lift the cover plate from the sump using the lift handles

Remove the two nested separator elements

Scrape the old gasket material from the cover and sump flange

Loosen fasteners securing wireform guard to the distance piece and remove to allow access to the coupling assembly.

Loosen and remove all capscrews securing each flexible element half to the shaft hubs.

Inspect each element body for signs of tears or separation away from the metal flanges.

Were any faults found in the elements?

Re-torque capscrews to 30 ft.-lbs. (40.7Nm) (dry).

Disconnect all power at source before attempting maintenance or adjustments.

Follow lockout procedures as per the Safety Section.

Inspection of Coupling Flexible Element

Access the coupling flexible element for inspection.

Inspect the coupling flexible element for wear or damage.

Is the coupling flexible element in good condition?

Refer to Figure 7-6 for compressor unit and motor alignment.

Ensure the Supervisor displays 'Air Filter Maint' or it has been one year since last maintenance.

Order replacement element no. 02250135-155 if needed.

Clean exterior of air filter housing.

Release the three retaining clamps and remove the end cap.

Remove element and clean interior of housing using a damp cloth.

Was the air filter element replaced?

Remove the old element and gasket using a strap wrench

Clean the gasket seating surfaces

Apply a light film of fresh fluid to the new gasket

Hand tighten new element until gasket contacts the seat

Continue tightening element an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn
