Verify that the return line strainer is free of foreign materials

Verify that the return line orifice is clear

Ensure the compressor unit is powered off and isolated from the power source.

Gather necessary tools and replacement element no. 02250152-670.

Remove the protective grill from the adapter housing.

Loosen the retaining screw located on the outer sleeve.

Slide the sleeve to one side, exposing the coupling element.

Unwrap the coupling element from the coupling jaws.

Remove the filter canister using a wrench

Remove and dispose of filter element

Observe all laws and regulations for filter disposal

Apply a light film of fluid to the element seal

Install the element into the filter canister

Screw the canister to the filter head and tighten to 10 to 12 ft•lb (13.5 to 16.0 N·m)

Restart compressor and check for leaks

Ensure the compressor is turned off and isolated from power source.

Verify that the maintenance gauge shows red with the compressor running full load, or confirm that it has been a year since the last replacement.

Clean exterior of air filter housing.

Rotate end cover counterclockwise and remove.

Remove air filter element by pulling it out of the housing.

Clean interior of housing using a damp cloth. DO NOT blow dirt out with compressed air.

Replace the air filter element.

Check the fluid level in the receiver tank

Note any frequent fluid additions

Ensure compressor is stopped and all internal pressure is relieved

Observe the controller display for correct readings

Is the compressor running properly after warm-up?
