CAUTION! Relieve all pressure from the receiver tank and all compressor lines.

Check mark

Disconnect all piping connected to the separator cover to allow removal (return lines, service lines, etc.)

Check mark

Loosen and remove the twelve (12) 3⁄4” x 2-1/2” GR5 hex head capscrews from the cover plate.

Check mark

Lift cover plate from the separator tank.

Check mark

Remove the primary and secondary separator elements.

Check mark

Scrape the old gasket material off the cover and flange on the separator tank, being careful not to let the scraps fall in the tank.

Check mark

Inspect the separator tank for rust, dirt, etc.

1 Yearly Air Filter Replacement

Check mark

Air filter maintenance on air filter no. 02250140-798 should be performed when the SupervisorTM displays Air Filter Maint, or once a year, whichever comes first. If the filter needs to be replaced, order replacement element no. 02250135 - 150.

AIR FILTER ELEMENT REMOVAL

Clean exterior of air filter housing.

Release the three retaining clamps and remove the end cap.

Remove element and clean interior of housing using a damp cloth.

Sign off on the air filter replacement

Pressure Regulator Adjustment

Adjust the service valve to maintain service air pressure

Turn the inlet valve regulator adjusting screw until 100psi is showing on the pressure gauge

Is the adjusting screw locked in place with the locknut?

Sign off on the pressure regulator adjustment

Compressor Routine Maintenance

Warning: HIGH-PRESSURE HAZARD! DO NOT remove caps, plugs, and/or other components when compressor is running or pressurized. Stop compressor and relieve all internal pressure before doing so. Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

Fluid Return / Sight Glass Maintenance

Fluid return/sight glass maintenance should be performed along with that of the fluid filter.

Fluid return/sight glass usually results from condition of the filter assembly.

Order filter assembly no. 02250117-782, and use the following instructions as a guide:

Disconnect the tube at bottom of sight glass.

Check mark

Unscrew the sight glass assembly where the elbow fitting joins the strainer/filter.

Check mark

Remove used filter assembly, and replace with the new assembly.

Check mark

Inspect and clean the orifice inside the sight glass blocks. Remove the orifice with an allen wrench.

Check mark

Coat/lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease.

Check mark

Re-attach the connectors to the sight glass/ orifice blocks.
