1 Yearly Rooftop System Maintenance
Heater and Ventilating systems - Inspected by a qualified service agency once a year.
Gas Train - Check all valves, piping and connections for leakage. Inspect and clean flame rod, ignition electrode, and burner manifold.
Condensate Pan/Drain/P-Trap - Check pan, drain, and p-trap.
Segment Replacement
Warning: Disconnect power to the drive motor before starting the procedure.
Power to the drive motor disconnected
Two segment retainers unlocked
Upload a photo of the segment inserted between hub plates
Segment pressed towards the center of the wheel and inwards against the spoke flanges
Segment Retainer closed and latched under the Segment Retaining Catch
Wheel rotated 180° and second segment installed opposite the first for counter balance
Two installed segments rotated 90° to balance the wheel while the third segment is installed
Wheel rotated 180° again to install the fourth segment opposite the third
2000 Hourly Supply Fans Bearings Lubrication
Supply fan motors should have grease added after every 2000 hours of operation.
Motor is warm, but not running?
Upper and lower grease plugs removed and cleaned?
Grease fitting inserted into the upper hole and small amount of clean grease added with a low pressure gun?
Lower grease plug installed?
Motor run for five minutes before installing the upper grease plug?
Select the type of grease used
Sign off on the supply fans bearings lubrication
6 Monthly Rooftop System Maintenance
Check burner fan wheel for dirt buildup and lint
Check combustion air intake louver and flue box for dirt buildup and accumulation of windborne debris
Cleaning Section
Inspect flue tubes and combustion chamber, cleaning as required
Keep burner vestibule clean. Dirt and debris can result in burner air blockages
Sign off on the rooftop system maintenance
Refrigerant Sensors Or Switches Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Low refrigerant pressure sensing switch functional
Enter the suction pressure when the low pressure switch disables the compressor
Enter the suction pressure when the low pressure switch enables the compressor
High refrigerant pressure switch functional
The low pressure switch can be replaced without reclaiming the refrigerant
Low pressure switch replaced?
The high pressure switch cannot be replaced unless the refrigerant has been reclaimed
