Use a wrench to remove the filter canister

Remove and dispose of filter element properly

Note! Dispose of fluids in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations

Clean gasket seating surface

Apply a light film of fluid to the element seal

Install the element into the filter canister

CAUTION! Relieve all pressure from the receiver tank and all compressor lines.

Disconnected all piping connected to the separator cover?

Check mark

Loosened and removed the twelve (12) 3⁄4” x 2-1/2” GR5 hex head capscrews from the cover plate?

Check mark

Lifted cover plate from the separator tank?

Check mark

Removed the primary and secondary separator elements?

Check mark

Scraped the old gasket material off the cover and flange on the separator tank?

Check mark

Inspected the separator tank for rust, dirt, etc.?

Shaft Coupling Maintenance

Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

Protective grill removed from the adapter housing

Check mark

Retaining screw located on the outer sleeve loosened

Check mark

Sleeve slid to one side, exposing the coupling element

Check mark

Coupling element unwrapped from the coupling jaws

Check mark

Verify shaft hub cap = .19”

Check mark

New element installed by wrapping it around the jaws, engaging the cogs on the element into the jaws

Check mark

Outer sleeve reinstalled and secured by tightening the two screws to 45 in·lbs (5 Nm)

Protective grill reinstalled

Pressure Regulator Adjustment

Check mark

Warning: This procedure should be performed by trained personnel only.

Is the compressor started?

Check mark

Adjust the service valve to maintain service air pressure at approximately 1 psi over its rated pressure.

Check mark

Turn the inlet valve regulator adjusting screw until 100psi is showing on the pressure gauge.

Check mark

Is the adjusting screw locked in place with the locknut?

Check mark

Sign off on the pressure regulator adjustment
