Ensure all thermostats and burner valves are in the 'OFF' position

Turn main gas valve to entire unit off

Remove valve panels and locate 1/8" plug in manifold

Remove plug and install a fitting appropriate to connect a manometer

Pressure Reading and Adjustment

Turn on main gas to unit and light pilots

Turn all burners and ovens to full 'ON' position and read manometer

Clean around burner air mixers and orifices if lint has accumulated

Visually assure proper pilot operation

Remove, empty, and clean components

Ensure oven by-pass flame is adjusted

Select temperature measurement tool

Place thermocouple or thermometer in the middle of the oven

Remove dial and push out metal insert

Replace dial and turn to 400 mark

Inspect the vent system for any visible damage or wear

Is the vent system free from obstructions?

Clean the vent system thoroughly

Check that all parts are cleaned and in place

Is the vent system operating normally after cleaning?

Describe any issues found during the cleaning process
