Inspect motor pulley(s) and compressor sheave(s) for issues

Are the pulley(s) and sheave(s) securely fastened?

Is the pulley alignment correct?

Is the belt tension appropriate?

Align the compressor sheave(s) with the motor pulley(s)

Ensure drive belt grooves are in line with each other

Place a straightedge against the face of the flywheel, touching its rim at two places

Is the belt running parallel to the straightedge?

Adjust the motor pulley so that the belt runs parallel to the straightedge

Use a wheel puller to move the motor pulley on the shaft

Filter Replacement Instructions

Apply a thin film of lubricant to the gasket surface of the new filter

Spin the filter on the threaded stud until the gasket makes contact with the housing

Tighten the filter an additional 3/4 turn

Is the filter compatible with Quin-Cip or QuiCip-D lubricant?

Is the filter free from bends or damage?

Is the compressor equipped with a filter?

Oil Sump Strainer Screen Cleaning

Clean the oil sump strainer screen with a safety solvent

Compressor Sheave Fasteners Torque

Torque compressor sheave fasteners per specifications

Hydrostatical Air Tank Inspection

Review Quincy Compressor's recommended air tank inspection intervals.

Refer to federal, state, provincial, or local codes for mandatory air tank maintenance information.

Tank Wall Thickness Measurement

Measure tank wall thickness at the lowest point where condensation can accumulate.

Measure tank wall thickness at several other locations.

Record any observations or anomalies found during the inspection.
