Lubricate the electric motor following manufacturer’s recommendations
Motor Pulley and Compressor Sheave Maintenance

Inspect for oil, grease, nicks, or burrs

1 Daily Air Receiver Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Disconnect & lockout the compressor from the power source (electric models) or disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug (gas engine models).
Preparation for Draining
Is the compressor stored in a heated area if subjected to freezing temperatures?
Reduce the air pressure in the tank to 30 PSIG by pulling the pressure relief valve ring.
Draining Process
Slowly open the drain valve and allow the moisture and air mixture to drain from the tank.
Close the drain valve once the moisture has been completely drained.
Post Maintenance Check

Visual Air Tank Inspection
Inspect air tank for visible damage or corrosion
Check all air tank components are in place
Measure Tank Wall Thickness
Measure tank wall thickness at multiple locations
Measure tank wall thickness at the lowest point where condensation can accumulate
Compliance Check
Refer to federal, state, provincial, or local codes for mandatory air tank maintenance information and note any specific requirements

Ensure compressor is installed in a secure and upright position
Verify area is clean, dry, well-lighted, and adequately ventilated
Ensure sufficient space around the compressor for inspection and maintenance
