Torque compressor sheave fasteners to specifications

Belt Tension Measurement
Measure the span length of the drive (in inches)
Calculate the required deflection (in inches)
Lay a straightedge across the top outer surface of the drive belt from pulley to pulley
Apply pressure with a belt tension gauge and record the deflection force reading
Is the deflection force reading within the minimum and maximum values?
Adjust belt(s) if the deflection force reading is not within the specified range
Post-Measurement Actions
Recheck the tension of the new belts several times in the first 50 hours of operation

Check lubricant levels for QT models
Add lubricant to QT models until it reaches the bottom edge of the lubricant fill opening
Maintain lubricant levels for other models between high and low level marks on dipstick

Apply a thin film of lubricant to the gasket surface of the new filter
Spin the filter on the threaded stud until the gasket makes contact with the housing
Tighten the filter an additional 3/4 turn

Is the filter compatible with Quin-Cip or QuiCip-D lubricant?
Filter Condition Check
Is the filter free from bends or damage?
