Lay a straightedge across the top outer surface of the drive belt from pulley to sheave
Apply pressure with a belt tension gauge and record the deflection force reading
Is the deflection force reading within the minimum and maximum values?
Adjust the belt(s) if the deflection force reading is not within the specified range
New Belt Tension Adjustment
Tension new belts to the maximum value plus 33% (multiply by 1.33)
