The Economy Bearing Assembly Dismantling
Observe and carry out notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 to Section 7.4.7
Push shaft 210 with deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 out of the bearing bracket
Heat up the deep-groove ball bearing to 80°C
Pull deep-groove ball bearing off shaft 210
Pull deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 off the shaft in cold condition (for grease-lubricated models)
Dispose of joint rings 400.01/.02

Wear heat-resistant protective gloves
Remove flammable substances from the danger zone
Preparation of Assembly Area

Select lubrication model for bearing assembly
Heat deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 in an oil bath to approx. 80°C (Oil-lubricated models only)
Slide deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 onto shaft 210 until it will not go any further
Carefully slide pre-assembled shaft 210 with deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 into bearing bracket 330
Shaft Seal Removal
Removing the mechanical seal - cylindrical casing cover
Ensure preliminary steps are completed
Unscrew hexagon nuts 920.02 and push back seal cover 471 (if fitted)
Unscrew hexagon nuts 920.04, if any
Remove casing cover 161 from bearing bracket 330
Pull complete mechanical seal 433 with shaft protecting sleeve 524.01, seal cover 471 and thrower 507.01 off shaft 210
Removing the mechanical seal - conical casing cover
Ensure preliminary steps are completed
Pull shaft sleeve 524.01 with the rotating assembly of mechanical seal 433 off the shaft
The Medium-Duty Bearing Assembly Dismantling
Observe notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 to Section 7.4.7
Drive shaft 210 with bearings out of the bracket
Remove disc 550.25 if grease lubrication is used
Remove support disc 550.23 from bearing bracket 330
Remove cylindrical roller bearing 322.01 from bearing bracket 330
Remove disc 550.24 if grease lubrication is used
Bend open lockwasher 931.01 behind keywayed nut 920.21
Unscrew keywayed nut 920.21 and remove lockwasher 931.01
