Drive Chain Alignment and Tension
Warning: Never remove chain guards while the conveyor is running. Always replace guards after adjustments are made.
Remove chain guard
Check sprocket alignment
Adjust sprocket alignment if needed
Re-tighten set screws
Loosen bolts that fasten motor base to mounting angles
Tighten take-up bolts until desired chain tension is reached
Re-tighten mounting bolts
Lubricate chain per lubrication instructions
2080 Hourly / 6 Monthy Minimum Pressure Live Roller Conveyor Lubrication
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Is the drive chain pre-lubricated from the manufacturer?
If not, apply a good grade of non-detergent petroleum or synthetic lubricant (i.e., Mobile 1 Synthetic)
Enter the hours of operation since last lubrication
Enter the date of last lubrication
Select the operating environment
For harsh conditions, it is best to lubricate more frequently and develop a custom lubrication schedule
Enter any notes or observations during the lubrication process
Sign off on the lubrication process
Belt Tension Adjustment
Model ACC
Take-up brackets with sheaves located at both ends of conveyor section
Take-up sheave removed and re-positioned closer to double groove sheave to tighten belt
Take-up sheave moved in opposite direction to loosen belt
Note: It is recommended that both take-up sheaves be moved when making adjustments.
Model LRC & LRS
Take-up bracket located near the center on the underside of the conveyor
Jam nuts on the take-up screw loosened and take-up sheave moved as indicated in Figure 20A

Belt Replacement
MODEL “ACC”
1. . . Check length of section in which belt is to be replaced.
2. . . Determine if a “long” or “short” belt is needed. (Figure 19A).
3. . . See Parts List for correct replacement number, Pages 26 & 27. See NOTES in page 19.
TO REPLACE BELT
1. . . Using knurled nuts, lower belt away from tread rollers in section belt is being replaced.
2. . . Remove five tread rollers from each end of section.
3. . . Remove all pressure rollers.
4. . . Replace belt and all rollers.
