Rinse measuring prisms under cold running water for 30 to 60 seconds

Is the measuring prism extremely dirty?

Clean extremely dirty prisms using soap and a cotton-wool ball

Submerge measuring prisms in disinfectant fluid ensuring they move freely

Record the time prisms were rinsed in cold running water (in minutes)

Turn the tonometer on by briefly pressing the function button.

Did the digital display light up and display the last set tonometer value?

Is the LED below the display glowing red when not in contact with the cornea?

Does the LED turn off when the measure body is at a good distance to the cornea?

Does the LED glow red again if the tonometer is too close to the eye?

Hold down the function button for about 1 second until the display shows [---] and an audible signal sounds.

Ensure storage after use is according to safety information

Verify the following if wrong results are obtained

Send defective equipment to HUVITZ immediately
