Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel. Perform this procedure with the boom fully retracted and in the stowed position and with the machine on a firm, level surface.

All weight, tools, accessories and equipment removed from the platform?

Key switch turned to ground control and red Emergency Stop button pulled out to the on position at both ground and platform controls?

Test weight of 600 lbs / 272kg placed in the center of the platform and secured?

Unrestricted range of motion indicator light is on at the ground controls?

Restricted range of motion light is on at the ground controls?

Primary boom fully extended and retracted?

Additional 100 lbs / 45kg added to the platform?

Restricted range of motion indicator light is on at the ground controls?

Warning: This procedure should be performed every 50 hours as per manufacturer specifications

Locate the grease fittings on the extendable axles covers

Thoroughly pump grease into each grease fitting. When grease is pumped into each fitting, a hose directs this lubrication to the top or bottom wear pad

Grease pumped into each fitting?

Cycle the extending axles in and out

Note: Genie recommends that the extending axles be cycled in and out at least once a week

Sign off on the axle lubrication

- Visual Inspection of the Hydraulic Oil

- Inspect the Hydraulic Filters

- After performing maintenance, perform scheduled services;

Clean Air filter discharge valve

Check for leaks Oil, fuel and coolant systems

Inspect/adjust/replace Alternator belt

DrainFuel system filter/water separator

Check/Drain Engine air precleaner

Check Battery electrolyte level

Test/Add Cooling system supplement additive

WARNING! Electrocuting/burn hazard. Remove all rings, watches and other jewelry.

WARNING! Bodily injury hazard. Batteries contain acid. Avoid spilling or contacting battery acid.

Neutralize battery acid spills with baking soda and water.

Note: Fully charge the batteries and allow the batteries to rest 24 hours before performing this procedure to allow the battery cells to equalize.

Battery cable connections are free of corrosion

Battery retainers and cable connections are tight

Battery separator wire connections are tight (if equipped)
