Check mark

A properly functioning level sensor (SCON) is essential to safe machine operation. The ECM at the ground controls (CON) monitors the position and angle of the machine using the signal from the level sensor. The level sensor signal is used to control the maximum working height of the primary and secondary booms

Check mark

Note: A digital level will be required to perform this procedure

Check mark

Note: A kit is available through Genie Product Support (Genie part number 58351). This kit includes a digital level with a magnetic base and cable harnesses

Check mark

Failure to maintain proper drive hub oil levels may cause the machine to perform poorly and continued use may cause component damage

Check mark

Models with tires:

Check mark

1. Drive the machine to rotate the hub until the plugs are located one on top and the other at 90 degrees

Check mark

2. Remove the plug located at 90 degrees and check the oil level

Check mark

Result: The oil level should be even with the bottom of the plug hole

Check mark

3. If necessary, remove the top plug and add oil until the oil level is even with the bottom of the side plug hole. 4. Install the plug(s) into the drive hub
