Check the mechanical cable. (Damaged or twisted)

Retightening extemal main bolts

Check the mechanical stopper and adjustable mechanical stopper.

Check the oil sight glass of J4 to J6 axis

Check the mechanical stopper and adjustable mechanical stopper

Cleaning each parts and inspection

Check the end effector (hand) cable

Supply grease to J6-axis reducer (M-20iA/20M)

i) Replenish the J6-axis reducer with grease about every 12 months or after 3840 hours of operation.

ii) See Fig. 3.1 and Table 3.1 for greasing points and the method.

Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

Oil sight glass of J4, J5/J6-axis gearbox checked

Is the amount of oil above Fig.7.2.3.2 (d), Fig.7.2.3.3 (c) and Fig. 7.2.3.4 (c)?

Is the oil level above the sight glass through the vent plug?

Is the oil discolored due to deterioration or the quality is questionable?

Cable connected to the teach pendant and robot checked for uneven twists

Sign off on the gearbox maintenance

Check whether the jackets of the mechanical unit cables and welding are damaged

Check whether the cables are excessively bent or unevenly twisted

Check that the connectors of the motors and connector panels are securely engaged

Tighten the end-effecter mounting bolts and external main bolts

Check the bolts of mechanical stopper and adjustable mechanical stopper are tightened

Clean each part (remove chips, etc.) and check component parts for cracks and flaws

Confirm whether there is any damage to the cable

Check whether the cable connected to the teach pendant and robot is unevenly twisted

Sign off on the mechanical unit maintenance
