Is the opening pressure between –4 mbar to 0 mbar?

Check the opening pressure for Babylog 8000 SW 4.n with HFV

Is the opening pressure between –4 to –2 mbar?

Select inspiratory flows from the list menu

Wait approximately 1 minute between setting and measurement of flow values (< 2 L/min)

Is the alarm 'FiO2 deviation' allowed to occur if no value is set?

Ensure the Babylog 8000/Babylog 8000 plus/Babylog 8000 SC is switched off

Identify the safety valve variant

Measure the opening pressure for Variant A

Is the opening pressure within 25 ±5 mbar?

Adjust the following parameters on the Babylog 8000/ Babylog 8000 plus/Babylog 8000 SC

Switch off occurring alarms and warnings by pressing the 'Reset/Check' key

Press and hold the manual inspiration key

Enter the pressure achieved during the 5-second test

Was a pressure of at least 75 mbar achieved?
