Assign personnel to check eyewash liquid level daily

Lead patient to nearest eyewash station

Pull yellow eyewash arm firmly to activate eyewash

Lower head until eyes enter eyewash stream and flush for 15 minutes

Seek qualified medical attention immediately

Is the eyewash liquid level adequate?

Refill eyewash liquid if necessary

Determine if flushing fluid needs to be changed or supplemented

Select the procedure for preventing bacteria growth

Drain, flush and refill eyewash tank with clean potable water

Refill tank with potable water to the watermark line

Was water discharged for any reason?
