Accessing the Regeneration Filter

Use a small flat screwdriver to gently pry down on the slot in the lower right hand corner of the filter grill while pulling out on the bottom.

Remove the filter from inside the grill.

Clean the filter with soap and water.

Replace the filter in the grill.

Inspect gaskets for damage or wear

Replace any gasket that is torn or cracked

Verify dewpoint readout with calibrated portable instrument

Is the dewpoint performance within acceptable range?

Heater Wire Current Measurement

Measure current draw on leg 1 of heater wires

Measure current draw on leg 2 of heater wires

Turn off the conveying function using the switch on the front of the dryer.

Remove the filter housing cover.

Clean or replace the filter cartridge as necessary.

Wear eye protection when using compressed air.

Confirm compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations when using compressed air.

Stop the dryer and lockout the main power

Turn off the water flow to the water supply line

Disconnect supply and return lines

Was an optional flow control added with the aftercooler?

Remove the compression fitting from the aftercooler inlet if flow control is present

Loosen the fitting on the flow control and swing the copper water supply tube out and away from the aftercooler inlet

Inspection of Hoses and Gaskets

Inspect all hoses, clamps, fittings, and gaskets

Are there any loose hose clamps or fittings?

Are there any worn or damaged hoses and gaskets?

Tighten any loose hose clamps or fittings

Replace worn or damaged hoses and gaskets
