Disengage process operations according to the procedure outlined in section 3.4

Ensure all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'

Remove the thermoformed front panel and set aside

Open the hinged electrical cabinet panel cover

Disconnect electrical connections

Remove the four mounting nuts to loosen the instrument

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and follow proper lock-out procedures.

Verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Remove the thermoformed front panel and open the electrical cabinet panel door.

Unplug the instrument connectors to fully extend the hinged panel.

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the 'To Process' temperature probe and insert a 1/2" plug in its place.

Record the temperature of the ice water bath using an accurate digital thermometer.

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Disconnect the valve wiring harness.

Remove the AVT valve's drip cover.

Remove the 2 mounting screws securing the motor/gearbox assembly to the valve bracket.

Familiarize with the manual and operating characteristics of the equipment

Ensure proper operator training, installation, operation, and maintenance

Follow safety considerations and lock-out procedures

Is the system pressure eliminated and the unit's pressure gauges read '0' pressure?

Shut down unit operations according to section 3.4 in the manual

Drain unit by removing the pump casing drain plug

Remove the capillary connection from the cooling cylinder to the pressure switch
