Lubricating balancing device bearings

Move axis 2 to calibration position

Remove the locknut without losing the support washer

Fit the lubricating tool by hand

Grease through nipple on the lubricating tool

Continue filling grease until clean grease exudes behind the inner sealing ring

Repeat greasing procedure at the other bearing

Remove the lubricating tool and clean the threads on the shaft ends of grease

3.4.2 Changing oil, axis-1 gearbox

Ensure all power supplies are turned off before entering the safeguarded space

Remove rear cover on the base by unscrewing its attachment screws

Pull out the draining hose from the rear of the base

Place an oil vessel close to hose end

Remove oil plug, filling to drain oil quicker

Open the hose end and drain the oil into a vessel

Close the oil drain hose, and put it back inside the base

Refit rear cover by securing it with its attachment screws

Ensure all power supplies are turned off

Conduct overall inspection of the cable harness for wear and damage

Check the connectors at the base

Is the velcro strap properly attached to the adapter?

Check the cable guide on axis 2 for damage

Inspect the metal clamps on the lower arm

Inspecting, balancing device bearings and piston rod guide ring

Ensure all power supplies are turned off before entering the safeguarded space

Move axis 2 to calibration position

Remove locknuts (KM10), sealing rings and support washers

Fit the auxiliary shafts on upper and lower axes of balancing device

Remove the protection hood from the M12 hole on top of the balancing device

Unload the bearings using a M12x50 screw

Pull out the cylinder slightly to inspect the inner rings

Wipe the inner rings clean and check for pressure marks or deformations

Move the robot to its calibration position

Turn off all electric power supply

Turn off hydraulic pressure supply
