Describe the specific static and CFM requirements for the application

Adjust blower speed and belt tension

Tighten blower pulley set screws

Tighten motor sheave set screws

Post 10-12 Hours Run Time Check

Have the set screws been re-checked after 10-12 hours of run time?

Describe any issues found during the re-check

Gas Connection and Pressure Check

Open the main shut-off valve to admit normal gas pressure to the mains.

Check all joints for leaks using a soap solution or other suitable material.

Were any leaks detected during the check?

Verify factory phasing of Predator® units

Is the compressor rotating in the correct direction?

Is the scroll compressor drawing low amperage?

Are the suction and discharge pressures similar?

Is the scroll compressor producing a high noise level?

Change the phasing of the Field Line Connection if necessary

Pre-replacement Safety Measures

Close main manual shut-off valve

Open the union fitting upstream of the unit gas valve and downstream from the main manual shut-off valve

Remove screws holding each end of the manifold to the manifold supports

Disconnect wiring to the gas valve

Remove the manifold & gas valve assembly

Check that all filters are in place

Replace filters if cleaning is not possible

Ensure filters are installed ahead of evaporator coil

Verify filters are of the correct size and type
