Verify that the unit is properly phased at the factory.

Is the blower rotating in the correct direction?

Is the compressor rotating in the correct direction?

Measure the amperage of the scroll compressor.

Are the suction and discharge pressures normal?

Is the noise level of the scroll compressor normal?

Smoke Detector Cleaning and Maintenance

Measure the pressure differential across the smoke detector's sampling and exhaust ports

Is the pressure differential within the specified range?

Check the orientation of the sampling tube

Connect a manometer to the outlet pressure port on the gas valve

Remove cover screws covering HI and LO pressure adjustment screws

Set thermostat to call for second stage heat and start furnace

Enter the current manifold pressure for second stage

Gas Connection and Pressure Check

Open the main shut-off valve to admit normal gas pressure to the mains.

Check all joints for leaks using a soap solution or other suitable material.

Review installation for errors, leaks, or undesirable system effects

Is the current blower speed appropriate?

Enter the existing datum diameter (DD)

Calculate the new datum diameter (DD) using the formula: (Required CFM/Measured CFM)*Existing DD
