Verify installation and connection
Is the sealing screw including the flat gasket in place?
Prime and vent the unit correctly
Is the pump rotor compartment vented automatically after a short operating period?
Was the pump run dry for a short period without harm?
Ensure motor head, differential pressure screw, and flange connection/threaded pipe union are not removed for venting

Periodically verify that all connections remain leak-free during operation
Describe any leakages of hazardous fluids and actions taken to remove them

Does the thermal tripping setting correspond to the maximum current of the speed stage?

Describe any issues found during the check

Verify that the two half-shells of the thermal insulation are correctly fitted
Check that the guide pins are engaged in the opposite holes
For cooling/air-conditioning systems, verify that commercially-available diffusion-proof thermal insulation materials are used instead of the supplied shells

8.1 Filling and Venting
Switch off the pump
Close the check valve on the pressure side
Protect electrical parts from any escaping water
Carefully open the venting screw using a suitable tool
Carefully push back the motor shaft with a screwdriver several times
Wait for 15 to 30 seconds before screwing the venting screw back in
Screw the venting screw back in
