Condensate Drain Check
7.1 Installation / 7.1.3 Insulation
Verify the following conditions for outdoor installations and cooling/air-conditioning systems
Check that condensate drain openings are clear and unobstructed
Verify that insulation has not been applied beyond the motor separation joint
Pump Leak Check

Check for leaks after installation
Periodically verify all connections remain leak-free during operation
Ensure leakages of hazardous fluids are removed to prevent danger to persons or the environment
Pump Maintenance
8.1 Filling and Venting
Switch off the pump
Close the check valve on the pressure side
Protect electrical parts from any escaping water
Carefully open the venting screw using a suitable tool
Is the necessary inlet pressure present at the suction side of the pump?
Carefully push back the motor shaft with a screwdriver several times
Wait for 15 to 30 seconds before screwing the venting screw back in
Screw the venting screw back in

Ensure all electrical connections and activities are performed by an approved electrician.
Disconnect all poles of the power supply before working on the pump.
Wait for 5 minutes before commencing work on the module to allow hazardous voltages to dissipate.
Voltage and Connection Verification
Verify all connections are voltage-free, including potential-free contacts.
Is the module/terminal box undamaged?
Check that the current type and voltage of the mains connection match the rating plate specifications.

Enter the maximum current setting for thermal tripping
Is the thermal tripping setting correct according to the rating plate?
Is the Wilo tripping unit SK 602(N)/SK 622(N) present?
Is the thermal winding contact (WSK) connected to a motor protection system?
Check if the motor protection system is functioning correctly
