Rotation Direction Check
8.2 Rotation direction monitoring
Verify the following conditions for three-phase pumps
Is the direction of rotation light green when the pump is briefly switched on?
If the direction of rotation is incorrect, was the pump electrically isolated and two phases interchanged in the terminal box before restarting?
Electrical Connection Check
Pre-Work Safety Measures
Ensure all poles of the power supply are disconnected before working on the pump
Wait 5 minutes before commencing work on the module for 1~ systems to allow hazardous voltages to dissipate
Electrical Connection Verification
Verify that all connections, including potential-free contacts, are voltage-free
Is the module/terminal box undamaged?
Does the current type and voltage of the mains connection correspond to the specifications on the rating plate?
Ensure the electrical connection is established via a fixed connection line with a connector device or an all-pole switch with a contact opening width of at least 3 mm
Verify mains-side fuse protection is 10 A, slow
Pump Startup Check
8 Commissioning
Verify installation and connection
Is the sealing screw including the flat gasket in place?
Prime and vent the unit correctly
Is the pump rotor compartment vented automatically after a short operating period?
Is dry running for short periods permissible?
Ensure motor head, differential pressure screw, and flange connection/threaded pipe union are not removed for venting
Thermal Insulation Shell Inspection
7.1.3 Insulation of the pump in cooling/air-conditioning systems
Verify that the two half-shells of the thermal insulation are correctly fitted
Check that the guide pins are engaged in the opposite holes
For cooling/air-conditioning systems, verify that commercially-available diffusion-proof thermal insulation materials are used instead of the supplied shells
Motor Maintenance
9.1 Dismantling/installation of the motor
Read the relevant chapters before maintenance
Comply with safety instructions
Close check valves on both sides of the pump before dismantling the motor
Allow the pump to cool to room temperature
Drain the isolated branch of the system
Are check valves fitted?
Drain the entire system if no check valves are fitted
Observe manufacturer's information and safety data sheets on possible additives
